Summer 2009 - Well, I intended to begin this blog last year, obviously ineffectively. However, I'm going to try again. The past school year flew by quickly. Many things changed, and many stayed the same. Over the course of the year we enjoyed a family visit from my mom's sister, our Moster Lisse, who also joined us for Christmas. My cousin John moved his family down to Tomball from Selden, New York, bringing family closer as well. Matt played football in the fall, baseball in the spring, and Micaela played soccer, then softball. Once summer neared, Micaela began swim team, which has been her favorite activity to date. Aaron also picked up softball again, and Tine plugged along teaching. A few eventful times over the year included a visit to the Hanna's lake house in Cold Springs, a wonderful weekend getaway in Fredricksburg, and the addition of a new swimming pool at our home. At the beginning of June Tine spent two weeks trekking in China; it was an incredibly amazing trip! All is well in the Metoyer household now, and for our many blessings, we are thankful.
